Do I have to provide electricity or water?

No! We carry and use our own commercial grade generator to power our salon. Noise level is less than or comparable to what you would expect from a lawn service, and as our trailer is insulated, noise is minimal inside our unit. In fact, our whole salon is equipped with everything you would expect from a stationary salon and more! (ie. heated/cooled water, AC, 50-100 gallons of fresh water, etc)

Potty Time

Please potty your pets before our scheduled appt time. Accidents are inevitable, but can cause your pets current appt time to increase, along with push back everyone else's scheduled appt for the day due to added clean up and sanitation time. In some instance's, pet have to be completely rebathed, redried, and/or restyled, and in these cases may cause additional charges to your total invoice.

Can you groom my special needs pet?

Yes! Our mobile services allow us to offer a more individualized experience for you and your pets. Whether due to health concerns, behavior issues, coat conditions, etc, we can help! Please keep in mind, pet's that may need a bit more TLC will also require more appointment time to be scheduled, so please notify us of any concerns you may have in advance. Additional fees may be incurred for "special handling" services.

How do appointment times work?

As you know, we work one on one with pets and their parents, at their place of home or business. Unexpected travel times, weather conditions, and issues with grooming may arise at anytime. Because of these concerns, we offer appointment arrival windows between 1 and 2 hours. However, as we strive to provide a service of convenience, we will always send you a text message or phone call with our ETA before we head for your pets appt, to give you a bit of notice.

Because most of our clients maintain regular rotating schedules, new appt requests should expect wait times of 2-4+ weeks for services to begin. We offer extremely flexible schedules and rotations and highly recommend prebooking to avoid these long wait times. In today's busy lifestyles, the last thing you need to worry about is getting your pet to the groomer!

What about matting?

Some matting or tangling can be easily brushed out. Some can not. The severity of the matting determines whether we can safely detangle or whether your pet's coat should be clipped down to safely remove the pelting. We will NEVER put vanity above your pet's safety and comfort. Matting can become so tight to the skin that discomfort and minor and even major health conditions can start to occur. Although we take GREAT care with all pet's in our care, dematting and pelt removal can become a more intricate undertaking and has to be done with extreme caution. Small nicks and cuts are possible, and the uncovering of pre-existing medical conditions is not uncommon. When the tangles begin to web together and tighten, it can make finding an entry point into the pelt difficult, along with limiting your line of sight between the skin, coat, body anatomy, and clippers/shears. Please leave heavy dematting and pelt removal to the professionals! Neglect of regular brushing/combing, and even improper brushing technique can cause tangling to start. Please ask us about what tools and techniques to use at home between grooming, or schedule your pet for a regular maintenance plan. Matting charges will apply, and are in addition to your base price.

Tips are always welcomed, never expected.

Did you know that grooming is, in many cases, your pet's 1st line of defense against new or worsening health conditions? We see and work with your pet on a different level, and are able to spot areas of concern more readily for you to present to your vet. Maintaining a regular schedule allows us and your pet to get to know each other more personally than a regular salon, helps keep them accustomed to the grooming process, keeps their coat and skin healthy, and both of you happy!

All pets should maintain a reoccurring schedule no more than 6 weeks apart. Grooming schedules, whether a bath, maintenance, or full haircut average every 2, 4, & 6 weeks. 8-10 weeks is an absolute max, and not recommended for most. After a 10 week lapse in appts, we will be unable to guarantee your spot on the schedule for future appts.

We understand, things happen! We do not charge fees to cancel at this time. However, please give us as much notice as possible that you won't be able to keep your scheduled appt.

Frequent cancellations may result in longer waits to reschedule or even an end to our business relationship.

Why does my dog's haircut cost more than my hair?

11. Your hairdresser doesn't come to you.

10. Your hairdresser doesn’t wash and clean your rear end.
9.  You don’t go eight weeks without washing or brushing your hair.
8.  Your hairdresser doesn’t give you a sanitary trim.
7.  Your hairdresser doesn’t clean your ears.
6.  Your hairdresser doesn’t remove the boogies from your eyes.
5.  You sit still for your hairdresser.
4.  Your haircut doesn’t include a manicure or pedicure.
3.  Your hairdresser only washes and cuts the hair on your head.
2.  You don’t bite or scratch your hairdresser.
1. The likelihood of you pooping on the hairdresser is pretty slim.
